  About Cyber Law

Cyber law is a term used to describe the legal issues related to use of communications, technology particularly cyberspace, i.e. the internet. It is a less distinct field of law as it is an intersection of many legal fields including intellectual property, privacy, freedom of expressions, e-commerce, e-governance and jurisdictions. In essence, cyber law is an attempt to integrate the challenges presented by human activities on the internet with legacy system of laws applicable to the physical world. In the era of cyber world as the usage of computers and mobile technology became more popular, there was expansion in the growth of technology as well and the term cyber became more familiar to the people. Moreover, there has been a sharp rise in the use of digital transactions with more number of people are prone to adopt digital e-payment. The evolution of information technology gave birth to the cyberspace wherein internet provides equal opportunities to all the people to access any information, data storage, analysis etc. Due to increase in the number of netizens, misuse of technology in cyberspace is clutching up which gives birth to cyber crimes at the domestic and international level as well.

  About The Course

Concept of Cyber law is a recent phenomenon. It is still in its nascent stage and continuously evolving every passing day. Even the most learned legal luminaries sometimes find it difficult to solve the legal problems posed by technology. Thus, the institute intends to start up a pious initiative to offer Diploma Course offered so as to spread awareness among the general public about the cyber law, it is specifically beneficial to the lawyer community and the judges in the subordinate judiciary, who face cases on the daily basis. The course is designed to impart knowledge by direct contract classes with expert faculties and study materials. The Diploma would be an added qualification for those who want to pursue a career in this field. The Diploma will help the law enforcing personnel in acquiring in-depth cyber world law for the future investigation with electronic evidence. The course will also provide the employer and their employees to exactly ascertain the importance of cyber security of their organization. The course will also show the path for their aspiring career in ethical hacking and cyber security.

From the simple cyber fraud or hacking to latest cyber- psychotorture related incidence, Mr. Chatterjee is in the forefront dealing with the various techno-legal issues in India. He has been appointed as Special Public Prosecutor by Government of West Bengal for Conducting Cyber and Electronic Evidence related cases in various Learned Courts. He has earned certification in Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence from Microsoft Inc., and Block Chain, BitCoin from IBM Inc.
